Nothing says christmas like lists, and nothing appeals to me more than an artist's own opinion of a venueMarmaduke Dando has posted a blog of all his gigs this year, giving a short review of what he thought of the people and place in each case and whether he'd play again.
My favourites are where he hails the the glorious St Mary's and Ryan's Bar of Stoke Newington and damns the awfulness of The Lock Tavern and Maggies. His appraisal of Barden's is accurate, but I love the place...so hopefully he'll give it another shot.
